V neděli 16. května přijeli do České republiky běloruští spisovatelé Nastassja Kudasavová a Sjarhej Kalenda. Spisovatelé byli pozvaní na rezidenční pobyt, který vznikl na popud Ambasády nezávislé běloruské kultury, Centra experimentálního divadla a Moravské zemské knihovny. Pobyt tvůrců organizuje a financuje Moravská zemská knihovna a zajišťuje je jeho sekce České literární centrum.

Ambasáda nezávislé běloruské kultury při Centru experimentálního divadla iniciovala rezidenční pobyty pro běloruské umělce.

CED a Ambasáda nezávislé běloruské kultury v ČR spustily mimořádný projekt, jehož smyslem je podnítit sepsání osobních dopisů běloruským politickým vězňům. Autory dopisů mají být významné osobnosti českého kulturního a veřejného života.

CED navazuje na odkaz Václava Havla a zřizuje v Brně Ambasádu nezávislé běloruské kultury v ČR. Otevření ambasády je symbolicky směřováno na 17. listopad, který je v České republice státním svátkem a Dnem boje za svobodu a demokracii.

A CED discussion on the (post) pandemic situation

Authors’ Reading Month (ARM), which is the largest literary festival in Central Europe, was established in Brno in 2000 and over time spread to other cities: in 2011, to Ostrava; a year later to Wroclaw and Košice; and, most recently, to Lviv, in 2015. The programme of the festival has a dual focus: the first is domestic, i.e., the literature of the host countries; the second is the literature of the country that is awarded the title of ‘Guest of Honour’ in that particular year.
